The Tree House

Nestled high on a forested hillside is a rustic hideaway for two. The view up the river valley is awe inspiring.

This cozy Tree House is accented by cedar paneling and dark, hand-made trusses. There's an antique wing-back chair and shelves of books for reading and relaxing while enjoying the cozy gas stove.

Open the two sets of French doors and experience "luxury camping" as the soothing river sounds lull you to sleep while snuggling in down comfort and beautiful linens.

This charming retreat is surrounded on three sides by a large deck furnished with abundant seating. This is where you will enjoy the smell of the pines, the glorious view, morning coffee, or wine and hor-d'oeuvres in the peaceful evenings.

 The Bath House

The Bath House features a large shower room with "rain shower" head and is just a stone's throw from the Tree House down a manicured, rock lined path.  The wall decor of metal roofing and incense cedar, coupled with the handmade trusses create a one-of-a-kind showering experience. The unique sink and vanity are devised from antiques.

Plush cotton towels and robes, showering amenities, and a hair dryer are provided for your convenience.

The Bear Paw
Tent Cabin

The Bear Paw is secluded a short distance from the Lodge. This walled tent-cabin has a screened entry, French doors and windows, and screened window-half-walls with canvas flaps that can be lowered for privacy.  The Bear Paw is a unique blend of wilderness tent living and modern luxury.

Featuring two queen size beds with romantically draped netting, the openness of the tent, the down bedding and beautiful linens surround you in complete comfort for the "luxury camping" experience. The tent-cabin is of good size and has two over-sized wicker rockers that create a conversation area around the homey gas stove. Antiques with character complete the decor.

Brew a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the restful mornings on the large deck that overlooks a forest meadow and Buckhorn Mountain.  Tables, chairs, built-in benches, and a handmade swing provide plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the grand views by day and the beautiful summer nights. The Bear Paw's main attraction is a delightful hand-carved bear totem pole featuring, Amos & Andy, Beuford & Candy, Inez, Isabel, and Fred; each one intent on climbing to the top.

The bathroom is complete with a hydro-jet massage tub and separate shower.  Plush cotton towels, bath amenities, and a hair dryer are provided for your convenience. This is truly luxury camping at its finest!

The main room has a king sized bed that can be made into two twin beds, if preferred.  The second room contains a double and a single bed.

Charming antiques decorate the suite. There is a large English armoire, a mirrored vanity and chair, and beautiful furnishing to insure comfort in this lush environment.

The rooms are draped with silk at the windows and bed canopies. Fine linens and down comforters complete the sumptuous surroundings.

French doors open onto the balcony for welcoming the morning.

The separate dressing area has a vanity, two vessel sinks on a French Provincial dresser, and a large tiled shower with a built-in bench.

Our rustic fishermen's cabin with a full kitchen, living/dining room, and covered porch accommodates up to 6 people and rents on a daily or weekly basis.

The wilderness theme is evident in the china, furnishing, and linens.
